Junior Hardware Engineer

The position
You are passionate about hardware design of embedded systems for a wide range of applications.
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the design team and create embedded control solutions using the latest technologies.

• As a Hardware Engineer you are jointly responsible for the electronic development of embedded control solutions.
• Based on the project needs and customer requirements, you evaluate possible solutions, draw up specifications, create a principle diagram and consider different technological alternatives with their advantages and disadvantages.
• You take into account any applicable standards (EMC, medical device, etc.).
• You implement the complete circuit (component selection, calculations, simulations, schematics, component placement, routing).
• You are closely involved in the test plan to test, characterize and validate the electronic circuit.
• You will help build the test setup and the selection of proper measurement principles and appropriate measurement devices.
• You will help test and integrate the circuit.
• Ideally, you will act as an expert on analog (and digital) electronics, rf and emc in the role of developer or troubleshooter.

• You have a master's degree in electronics ideally with initial professional experience.
• You are a hardware design person at heart.
• You are creative and you provide input from the specification and prototype phase to the full validation (2 spaces) of a design; you also work closely with other departments (purchasing, production, ... );
• You are able to choose the right concepts and ideas by looking at them critically;
• You have affinity with software and you understand its interaction with hardware;
• You can function both in a team and independently;
• You are communicative, you show initiative, you have a sense of responsibility and you manage to inspire others with your ideas;
• You learn quickly and are excited to be challenged by our experienced engineers to keep getting better at your craft.
