Software Test Lead

• You will lead the verification team and be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining automated tests for the cloud-based IoT platform.
• You ensure optimal cooperation within the team.
• You create and automate verification test cases and provide feedback to team members.
• You take initiative for self-development and process improvement in consultation with your supervisors , the Engineering Manager and Program Manager.
• You tackle problems and ensure that the timeline and budget are met
• You work in close collaboration with the software development team to create the correct test sets
• You work 2 days at the office and 3 days from home (After your induction period)

• A Bachelor/Master degree in informatics, computer science, industrial science or equivalent engineering.
• at least 3 years experience with test automation and test management tools, as applied to back-end testing and front-testing, covering all levels from unit testing to end-to-end testing
• You have a software development background. (Strong plus if this is in java, python and/or javascript)
• knowledge of IOT and preferably AI
• In depth knowledge of Dutch and/or English
• Experience with modern cloud-based development and operation environments.
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with at least one scripting languag.
• Knowledge of Robot framework is a plus
• Hands-on experience with hardware / IoT device automation testing is a Plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of hardware communication protocols like modbus is a plus.
