(Senior) Embedded Software Engineer

Verhaert-Onsite Consulting is the technical consultancy company within the Verhaert Masters in Innovation Group.

We have an opportunity for an embedded software engineer in the Ghent area.

• You will contribute to a product related project, the development of a controller system.
• You are both developer and architect.
• You will implement software of embedded devices, review and design code, integrate and validate new product designs, and develop system software from design through debugging.
• You will write and debug the code (C, C++), from driver level to application level.
• You work in a collaboration with the hardware team.

• You have a master degree in Computer Science-Electronics.
• You have an embedded mindset and have insights in ARM architecture.
• You have good level of coding skills (C-embedded, C++), debugging experience and a deep understanding of embedded programming.
• Experience in automation (bash scripting) is a plus.
• You are able to communicate fluently in English.
