Project Manager Industry 4.0

Verhaert On-Site Consulting is the technical consultancy company within the Verhaert Group Masters in Innovation.
In order to support our client, we have a challenging opportunity for a project manager Industry 4.0.

As a Project Manager, you manage industry-driven technology research projects related to Industry 4.0. The purpose is to bring the potential of the Industry 4.0 technology, such as digitalization and digital twins closer to the the manufacturing industry.

• You take the technical lead and support and motivate researchers with expertise in sensing, monitoring, control and decision-making to look for new solutions. Challenges include data acquisition, condition monitoring in industrial environments, sensor fusion, cloud connectivity, artificial intelligence, machine learning…
• You develop a collective ambition for your projects with all stakeholders: research labs and universities and technology users such as automotive and machine building companies.
• You lead the project team towards excellent projects results, that are both industrially relevant and scientifically excellent.

• You have a PhD or Master degree in a relevant technical domain.
• You have at least 5 years relevant experience in an academic or industrial context.
• You have expertise in modelling and virtualization.
• You have project management and coaching skills.
• You have knowledge of or strong interest in one of the research domains.
