Your Challenges

The microfluidics engineer we have an opportunity for, preferably has (some) knowledge of electrowetting, dielectrophoresis and related topics.

  • You contribute to concept formulations for novel devices for life science application.
  • You are an expert in analytical calculations and multidisciplinary simulations.
  • You evaluate concepts of devices and systems and conceptualize the device design.
  • This means you design of the device measurement schemes and also are the person who does the multidisciplinary measurements to test the functionality of microfluidic devices.
  • Working on several projects in projects is your cup of tea. You follow up the timings agreed and report the results.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicists, engineers, and biologists.

Education & Skills

  • You have an Engineering or PhD degree in a relevant fields
  • You have solid theoretical understanding of the physics involved in microfluidics, electrokinetics.
  • You have practical experience with devices using those techniques.
  • You are skilled in modelling and simulation, such as COMSOL or ANSYS.
