Expert Test & Validation Engineer (machinebuilding)

Verhaert On-site Consulting is part of the Verhaert Group Masters in Innovation.

As an Expert Validation Engineer, you will work on the expansion of your department and be the supervisor of your peers during the build-up phase.
You guarantee that, after your passage, the department can continue working independently and competently.
You will be given the necessary time for this.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for preparing the test schedule, test budget and scope for the release of the new product design and components from (new) suppliers.
• You ensure the correct and timely execution of the test plan according to internal and external standards.
• You ensure the functional testing of (prototype) products and components
• You deliver accurate test reports
• You maintain the interoperability matrix
• You take care of challenging D-FMEA content and mitigation actions
• You are responsible for test risk management and proactive escalation
• You are responsible for coordinating external deliverables and test experts within the team.

As a Master in Engineering (Eletromechanics/Mechatronics), you possess:

• several years of experience as a Test & Validation Engineer
• leadership qualities
• the desire to support employees in their growth
• the desire and capacity to pass on your knowledge
• project management capabilities
• thorough technical knowledge of products, components and control systems
• a good understanding of technical risk management (D-FMEA) and APQP concepts (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
